		<description><![CDATA[<p>My grandson is now into running so we spend the afternoon shopping for him a good pair of running shoes.  I never realized the huge variety of running shoes that were on the market and the large number of stores that sold them.</p>
<p>Being a teenager he was more interested in buying the brands all his friends were wearing.   However after some discussion I convinced him it was best to determine which brand was the best for his needs, which was to protect his feet, knees and legs while running, regardless of whether his friends wore them.  So we spent some time doing research on the internet to determine the best available shoes before going physically shopping for them.</p>
<p>I was amazed at the wide variation in pricing between the brands and within the brands.  We quickly discovered that price did not mean much when it came to quality or suitability but was mainly dependent on how well the company sold the brand image to the public.  We finally settled on three different potential shoes and went to the stores for him to try them on and make a final decision.</p>
<p>After four hours and five different stores he finally decided on the ASICS Men&#8217;s GT-2160 running shoe.  We bought it from Dick&#8217;s Sporting Goods, which was the first store he checked and the sixth store we visited that afternoon.  Yes, we went to Dick&#8217;s first and last, and then bought the shoes.  I was surprised at the price as I was expecting to pay more.  This turned out to be the lowest priced of the three potential running shoes but was the best quality.</p>
<p>And I discovered going shopping for shoes with a teenager was almost as bad as going shopping for shoes with the wife.  <img src='http://edseward.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>The new site to replace the hacked site is almost ready.  It should be online within the next week or two, depending on how my health holds up.</p>
<p>It will contain a series of articles on how you can develop a second income from the internet. It will also contain some of the tools I used and suggestions on the steps you should take if you are just starting out.</p>
<p>Some of the posts I will write myself, some will be articles I have received from various sources that do a good job of explaining basic concepts.</p>
<p>It is still a work in creation but I think worthwhile.  In a way the hacker did me a favorite, as the idiot made me reconsidered the site.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>I will be building a new site here over the next few weeks.</p>
<p>I was sick for a few months and unable to do much.  Some childish moron hacked into the site and left a message he/she thought was amusing but only showed how immature and childish she/he was.</p>
<p>So I will setting up everything again as I feel better and can spare the time.</p>
